TRACKSET

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Trackset handles information when you use its personal finance app. It covers the current features: assets, debts, cash flow, budgets, financial goals, emergency funds, market prices, reminders, and Pro purchases. Trackset does not require a user account and does not provide cloud synchronization of your financial records.

2. Financial records and preferences

Information you enter—including asset names and values, holdings, debt details, payment history, income, expenses, transfers, budgets, goals, emergency fund entries, dates, and notes—is stored in a local database on your device. Trackset uses these records to display your portfolio and calculate summaries and planning estimates. App preferences, such as display currency, your manually entered exchange rate, and app-lock preference, are also stored locally. Trackset does not connect to your bank or request bank login credentials.

3. Market prices and network requests

Gold price updates and Indonesian stock (IDX) lookups contact the Trackset price service at trackset.pemrogramkode.my.id. Stock requests include the stock code being looked up. These requests do not include your balances, quantities held, debt details, notes, or complete portfolio. Network service providers may receive your IP address, request time, requested URL, and technical request information to deliver and protect the service. If a stock logo is loaded from a remote address, the image host may receive similar network information. US stock prices are entered manually. Opening an external source or website sends you to that provider, whose privacy policy applies.

4. Pro purchases and RevenueCat

Trackset uses RevenueCat to check Pro access, display purchase options, validate purchases, restore purchases, and manage subscription access. RevenueCat may process an automatically generated app user identifier, product identifiers, purchase receipts or tokens, transaction history, entitlement and subscription status, and device, app, and network information. This connection can occur when the app initializes or checks access, even if you have not purchased Pro. Your locally stored financial records are not sent to RevenueCat. Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments; Trackset does not receive your payment card number. Purchase-related information may be processed outside your country and retained as needed to provide purchase services and meet legal obligations. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription or erase store transaction records.

5. Device permissions and reminders

If you enable app lock, Trackset asks the operating system to authenticate you using supported device authentication. Trackset does not receive or store raw biometric data, face images, or fingerprints. Optional debt reminders request notification permission and are scheduled locally on your device; the current app does not register a remote push notification token. Reminders can display the debt name, payment amount, and due date, including on the lock screen depending on your device settings. You can disable reminders or notification previews in app or device settings. Backup import and export use the system file picker and sharing sheet. Trackset does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone for its current features.

6. Backups and information you share

Export creates a JSON file containing your financial records and saves a temporary copy in the app cache before opening the system sharing sheet. Import reads the file you select, may create a cached copy, and replaces the existing local financial records. Trackset does not add encryption to these files. A file you save or share with a cloud drive, messaging app, email service, or other recipient is handled by that provider or recipient. Operating system backups may also contain app data depending on platform and device settings. Manage exported files, cached files, and system backups separately; deleting a record in Trackset does not remove those copies.

7. Security, retention, and deletion

Trackset relies on the operating system’s app storage protections. The local financial database and JSON exports do not have additional encryption implemented by Trackset. App lock restricts access through the app interface; it does not encrypt the database or exported files. Protect your device and backups. Local financial records remain until you edit or delete them, replace them through import, or remove the app’s local data. You can delete supported records within the app. To remove all local financial data, use your operating system’s app-data removal options or delete the app and its data; offloading an app may preserve data. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete your local portfolio. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

8. Advertising, analytics, and your choices

When enabled in the installed version, Trackset uses Google Firebase Analytics and Meta App Events to measure app opens, Pro paywall views, checkout starts, and successful Pro purchases. These services may process installation and advertising identifiers, Pro product identifiers, device information, and IP addresses. RevenueCat may associate installation identifiers with subscription purchases and lifecycle events. Firebase Analytics also receives the type of screen opened (for example "asset detail"), without record contents or identifiers. Financial record names, balances, debts, budgets, and personal notes are not sent as advertising events. On iOS, Firebase Analytics still records app usage for Trackset's own analytics with advertising use denied, while Meta events and advertising identifiers are sent only after you allow tracking through the system permission dialog. You can revoke this permission in device Settings. On Android, Trackset does not ask for tracking permission: Firebase Analytics records app usage only for Trackset's own analytics, without the device advertising ID and with advertising use denied, and Meta events are not sent. The Analytics screen calculates financial insights from local records. Trackset does not sell your financial records. When enabled, Google Firebase Crashlytics receives crash and error reports containing technical stack traces, app version, device model and OS version, a Crashlytics installation identifier, and IP address. Crash reports are used only to fix stability problems, are not used for advertising, and do not depend on the iOS tracking permission; financial records are not included. Network and purchase providers still process the information described above. You can review and correct local records in the app, use JSON export where available (currently a Pro feature), and revoke optional device permissions. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information processed by us or our service providers, or raise a privacy concern through the contact below. Purchase information may need to be retained for legal or transaction purposes.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Trackset’s features or data practices change. The updated policy will show a new date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate notice where required.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact the Trackset developer at [email protected]. Please do not send your complete financial backup unless it is necessary for your request.

Terms of Use

Trackset is a personal record-keeping and planning tool. It does not provide banking, lending, trading, investment, tax, or legal advice. Market values, interest, payoff, depreciation, and emergency fund figures are estimates that may differ from actual results; verify amounts and payment obligations with your providers.

Your financial records stay on your device. You are responsible for protecting your device and any backup files you export, share, or store elsewhere. The developer cannot recover local records.

Trackset Pro is sold through the App Store or Google Play. Plans and prices are shown before purchase. Weekly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; lifetime is a one-time purchase. Payment, cancellation, and refunds follow the store's terms. If you downloaded Trackset from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

Trackset is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].

Trackset Support

For app issues, Pro purchases, or privacy requests, email [email protected]. Include your app version, device model, iOS or Android version, and steps to reproduce the issue. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or your complete financial backup.

To restore Pro, open Premium and choose Restore Purchases using the same App Store or Google Play account. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your store account settings; uninstalling Trackset does not cancel a subscription. Your financial records stay on your device, so the developer cannot recover them remotely.

Delete your data. Records you enter in Trackset never leave your device: delete them in the app, clear the app data, or uninstall Trackset. To delete analytics, crash reports, and purchase records processed by Google Firebase and RevenueCat for your installation, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Trackset data" and, if you have one, your store order number. We will ask our service providers to delete the related data within 30 days. Purchase records that Google Play, the App Store, or tax law require us to keep are retained only for that purpose.
